We’ve built something we think you’ll love—a custom Google Map showcasing dozens of hiking trails in and around Olympic National Park. Whether you’re planning a weekend trip or a longer adventure, this free tool makes it easy to explore Olympic National Park trails by difficulty, location, and proximity to RV@Olympic.
*Please note, the map is still in v1.0 beta. Over time we will be adding trail distances, photos and more!
Why We Created the Olympic National Park Trails Map
Planning hikes in Olympic National Park can feel overwhelming. With hundreds of trails and limited information in one place, it’s easy to miss out on something amazing. That’s why we decided to simplify things. Using a variety of trail resources, our team gathered and organized trail data into an intuitive, clickable format that anyone can use.
What You’ll Find
Our interactive map includes:
- All Trails in One Place – Every trail we’ve logged around the park
- Categorized Difficulty Levels – Easy (green), Moderate (yellow), Hard (red), and TBD
- Olympic Discovery Trail – A standout long-distance route along the peninsula
- RV@Olympic Location – So you can plan hikes based on where you’re staying
How It Works
- Use the legend on the left to toggle between trail types
- Click any trail to see the difficulty level and a short description
- Search by trail name or explore the map freely

We plan to update this map regularly as our team hikes more trails—and we’ll be adding pictures and personal commentary over time. Eventually, we hope to open this up to guests of RV@Olympic to contribute their own trail reviews and notes.
